What’s Happening?

Please join us and all are welcome to our Sunday morning, 9am Intermediate ride starting and ending at our shop. We will average 16+mph and ride for 90 minutes. This is a no drop ride and the group will stay together.

We will explore the hillier sections of Fairmount Park and the Gladwyne Hills area.

Please bring your helmet, water and a positive attitude.

All bikes and bodies are welcome to join us on the Performance Great Ride Series!

Pace: Brisk: 15-18mph

Interest: Training: Focused on preparing riders for a specific upcoming event, or to increase speed, endurance and performance in general.

All rides have trained ride leaders and follow the rules of the road.

Road Trails

Schuylkill River Trail - Valley Forge to Philadelphia
The Valley Forge to Philadelphia segment of the Schuylkill River Trail stretches 27 miles along the historic Schuylkill River, from downtown Philadelphia at the Philadelphia Museum of Art out to Montgomery County and Valley Forge National Historic Park. other Schuylkill River Trail segments: Thun Trail, Bartram Trail, and the Phoenixville to Pottstown segment.

Schuylkill River Trail & Perkiomen Creek Trail
Description: Combined it makes for roughly 45 miles of bike path riding from center city Philadelphia, through Valley Forge National Park, and ending at Green Lane Park
Difficulty: All Levels.
Location: Betzwood Bridge part of Valley Forge Park - accessible from the Trooper Rd. exit of US 422

Cooper River Park
Near Collingswood, NJ The 346-acre Cooper River Park is found on both the north and south shores of Cooper River Lake. The urban park offers bike and pedestrian paths, as well as other recreational facilities. There is a 3.8-mile loop from Cuthbert to Route 130 and another 1.35-mile path from Cuthbert to Grove Street.

Pennypack Trail - HYBRID
The Pennypack Trail is a 2.4-mile rail-trail located mostly in Lorimer Park in Montgomery County and connected to Pennpack Park in Philadelphia County. Converted from the old Fox Chase-Newton Branch line, this trail runs from Rockledge Borough on the Philadelphia/Montgomery County boundary, north to Huntingdon Pike (Route 232) in Abington Township. The Pennypack Trail now seemlessly connects to Pennypack Park and a 10-mile paved trail along Pennypack Creek, leading to the waterfront of the Delaware River.

MTB Trails

Belmont Plateau
About 1.5 miles from the Art Museum in Philadelphia. The trail winds through west fairmont park. There are a ton of log crossings, some stream crossings, tight and twisty single track, with quick up hills and descents.

Wissahickon Park (section of Fairmont Park)
At Bells Mill Road and Ridge Ave, Philadelphia. The park is just a portion of the much larger 9,200 acre Fairmount Park system. Friends of Wissahickon . Wissahickon Valley Park Trail (Forbidden Drive) follows the creek of the same name through the entire length of the park.
