You are invited to join our Saturday morning, beginner's group ride starting and ending at our Salt Lake Performance Bicycle store. The ride is for beginners and those getting back on the saddle. The average pace will be between 10 and 14 miles per hour and the ride will last approximately one hour. We will explore some of the local bike paths available to you and experience some residential riding as well. The ride leaves the store every Saturday morning at 9:00 am and is a "No Rider Left Behind" ride. Come join our ride leaders for some fun!

Routes / Trails

Corner Canyon - MTB
Description: The Corner Canyon Trail is a good ride and a fun place to get in a few miles for training purposes. Overall the trail is made up of fireroads with a little bit of singletrack, there is a fair amount of climbing, some technical challenges, and great descents.
Difficulty: Beginner
Location: Draper, UT

Bonneville Shoreline - MTB
Description: This trail follows what was the shoreline of ancient Lake Bonneville. Various sections of the trail run from Ogden down to Payson. You'll encounter steep climbs but nothing too technical along this fun route. The trail is mostly singletrack but you will transverse some double-track, as various other trails cross or merge with the Shoreline Trail.
Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced

Wasatch Crest - MTB
**Mid-Summer/Fall**
Description: The Wasatch Crest Trail is probably the most famous mountain biking route in the Salt Lake area. There are many good reasons for its legendary status, such as an extremely well maintained single track, incredible views of Big Cottonwood Canyon and the Park City area, open spaces, old-growth forest, alpine lakes, and simple fact that you can ride your bike along the crest of a major mountain range.
