Access Stealth LTD 29er Mountain Bike

Riders are demanding carbon. The Access Stealth LTD 29er is ready to fill their need.

As urban legends surrounding the frailty of carbon mountain bike frames begin to wane, more mountain bikers, from cross country to downhill, choose to ride carbon. Generally speaking, carbon can endure two to two and a half times more impact from force than an aluminum frame, and provide greater strength and support for larger or heavier riders.

The Stealth LTD features a beefy full carbon hardtail 29er frame while weighing in at a mere 1250 grams. We've tapered the head tube to 1 ¼" for necessary stiffness and a snappy feel under acceleration. The seat and chain stays are shaped to provide adequate support and overall rear triangle comfort without sacrificing on the delivery of power to the drive train. The LTD features internally routed shift cables and is wrapped in a stunning matte finish with gloss highlights under a clear coat.

The SRAM X.5 drive train utilizes steady and silky smooth X-Glide shifting with SRAM's 1:1 actuation ratio. Essentially, every unit of cable you pull moves the derailleur the same amount. It's precise, fluid and is dependable even in the worst of conditions. The shifters and rear derailleur benefit from an intuitive Impulse Technology for fast and accurate shifts in and out of tight singletrack corners.

Tektro hydraulic disc brakes supply all of the stopping power you need. An open system with dual pistons allow for easy adjustment and maintenance. The LTD is equipped with 180mm front and 160mm rear rotors. A 29er bike generates more rolling momentum. The larger front rotor is necessary for increased braking force.

It is important to start and stop effectively, but a mountain bike ride takes place in between those two points. The Stealth is outfitted with an RST Blaze 29er fork with 100mm of travel. The Blaze has coil sprung internals to smooth out heavy hits and small bumps alike. The Alex TD24 disc wheels provide steady, durable performance and are mounted with trail-proven and widely chosen Kenda Nevegal tires with deep knobs and superior grip.

The Access Stealth LTD 29er mountain bike is a light weight carbon hardtail at home on everything from tight cross country singletrack to wide open fire roads. This is a limited production run and only available at Performance.
