Designed from the ground up as 29" mountain bike wheels, not just another re-purposed and re-stickered road wheelset, the Reynolds 29 XC carbon mountain bike wheelset is optimized with an ideal combination of strength, stiffness, durability and light weight. With a 21mm internal rim width, these wheels are designed to put the perfect contact patch beneath the rider at all times, enhancing performance, comfort and control.
  • Unidirectional prepreg rim construction orients carbon fibers in the directions that make the most sense for a particular area of the rim
  • 24 spokes front and rear for strength
  • Hand-built in Reynolds's own production facility
  • 21mm internal width provides stable, anti-roll platform for 2.0-2.3 tires
  • Specially designed hub meets the needs of training, racing and recreational riding
  • Tubeless-ready with rim strips
  • Front wheel is setup for 15mmx100mm, with quick-release axle caps and skewer included
  • Rear wheel is setup for 12mmx142mm with quick-release axle caps and skewer included
