SRAM XX1 was built with a dedicated 1X design philosophy -- making it simpler, lighter and more durable than any other. X-Horizon keeps the chain gap constant across all 11-gears, providing fast and precise shifts, with its horizontal parallelogram design and pulley offset. By limiting all movement to the horizontal axis, this SRAM design is faster, reduces shift force and eliminates ghost shifting.

XX1 is dripping with technology. The Roller bearing clutch reduces bounce and chain slap and the all-new Cage Lock technology makes the wheel removal and installation easier than ever before. Paired with the XX1 shifter, the XX1 rear derailleur forms the backbone of X-Actuation technology for unbelievably smooth shifting action.
