Diamondback Haanjo Comp - 2017
If you were stuck on a deserted island or on a gravel road in the mountains with one bike, the Diamondback Haanjo Comp would be a worthy companion. At first appearing to resemble a race ready cyclocross bike, the Haanjo Comp is your ticket to adventure and commuting alike. By increasing the wheelbase and height of the headtube, the Haanjo offers a more stable handling bike with a smoother ride and increases the all-day level of comfort for the rider. Whether an adventurous commute or a 100 mile gravel grinder, the Diamondback Haanjo Comp will take you wherever you want to go.
The 6061-T6 Aluminum frame and carbon gravel-ready fork is dawned with a dependable parts build to give you plenty of reliability and performance. Kenda's 40mm wide Flintridge tires will smooth the ride and offer you unsurpassed traction on everything from smooth pavement to gravel roads with a surface like a bunch of loose marbles. Keeping everything in check are SRAM's Apex 1 Hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes offer the best and most predictable braking in dry & wet conditions alike while the hydraulic actuation offers the best and easiest modulation.
Driving this gravel beast is SRAM's Apex 1, 1 X 11 drivetrain. The 44t chainring and 11-42t cassette gives you plenty of gearing to grind up longest mountain climbs while keeping things simple and dependable. Other quality bits include HED handle bars, Tomcat disc brake wheels with sealed cartridge bearings and a bump forgiving 27.2 diameter seatpsot.
