Mavic has lightened their highest performing, cross-country mountain bike wheel with ISM 3D technology to give you better handling, increased precision and a ride that's stiffer than ever.
  • Maxtal asymmetrical rim is ISM 3D machined and SUP welded for serious weight reduction, instant acceleration, direct steering and reactive braking
  • Fore technology adds greater rigidity and stiffness to the rim
  • Red FTS-X cassette body with strengthened pawls and self-locking axle end screws meet the demands of hard-wearing MTB riding
  • Oversized 15mm thru axle enhances stability
  • 9mm plug-in reducers convert the 15mm thru axle into a 9mm quick release compatible wheel
  • QRM sealed cartridge bearings produce low resistance, maximize rolling fluidity and are easy to maintain
  • 24 (2x) Zicral, straight pull, bladed, double butted (with two red) spokes reduce tension cycles and are lighter and stronger than stainless steel spokes
  • Compatible with UST and standard tires/tubes
