2011 Zipp 303 Tubular Front Wheel

The Zipp 303 tubular carbon front wheel was engineered with the cobbles of the spring classics in mind. However, the 519g total weight makes it lighter than many pure climbing wheels. This bad boy even rode to a mountain stage win in the Tour de France. Without adding a gram of weight, the new 303 tubular is more than 5mm wider and 1mm deeper than its predecessor, substantially improving the already superb impact resistance while offering more comfortable and forgiving radial stiffness. At the same time, the wider, deeper rim increases the 303's lateral stiffness for sprinting, cornering, and accelerations. The 303's stability in crosswinds makes it an ideal choice for triathlon, road riding and racing.
