The new XTR RapidFire Plus shift levers feature improved ergonomics, anti-slip surfaces to enhance lever control and four-bearing construction for ultra-slick MTB shifting performance. Plus, instant-release, multi-release and two-way release technology give you the versatility to set up your shifters to match your preferred shifting and riding style. Choose instant release for the fastest shifts, or multi-release for grabbing two gears at once in either direction. The two-way release feature accommodates different shifting preferences with an upper lever that swings both ways, giving you the choice of either index finger or thumb activation. Even more remarkable than the slew of new features Shimano managed to pack into these compact gizmos is the fact that they priced the all-new XTR RapidFire Plus shifters the same as last year's model.
