The new Mallet 1 features a sleeker, slimmer polycarbonate body that's every bit as rugged as the old-style aluminum platform, but way lighter, at only 403g per pair. The new Mallet 1 features horizontally spaced traction blocks fore and aft instead of pins. They provide plenty of grip, while allowing you to make subtle and snag-free foot adjustments on the fly (damn straight, pun intended).
