2012 Diamondback Overdrive Expert 29er Mountain Bike -- Performance Exclusive
The Diamondback Overdrive Expert is going to make you feel pretty darn smart -- and ever so fiscally responsible -- for waiting for 29ers to go mainstream. Thanks to your patience, and Diamondback's economy of scale, you can get your mitts on the Overdrive Expert for less than a monkey. And what a handful of hardtail it is, with its lightweight aluminum frame, Suntour suspension fork, 24-speed Shimano drivetrain and Hayes mechanical disc brakes (plus a heap of other trail-worthy goodness). It's equipped with everything you need to start enjoying all of the benefits that have made big-wheel bikes so popular: a larger contact patch for more traction, higher bottom bracket for better ground clearance, enhanced ability to maintain momentum, etc. Add it all up, and it's easy to see that this specially equipped Overdrive Expert is an awful lot of bike for the money.
