2013 Charge Juicer Hi Road Bike

The Juicer Hi is the perfect match for wandering the city and beyond its boundaries. Great features like full wrap fenders, Shimano components and compact gearing make pedaling this United Kingdom designed bike as fun as looking at it.

The Juicer Hi features a flawless Tange Prestige chromoly frame and fork. Tange steel is custom drawn and has a titanium-like feel: lively, comfortable and forgiving thanks to its road vibration dampening properties. Prestige is formed using Tange's 90 years of experience in manufacturing steel tubes. It has a high level of strength, responsiveness and stiffness. The relaxed cross frame geometry directly translates into a more upright, comfortable riding position and an improved overall field of vision.

Shimano 105 is an incredibly reliable and smooth performing drivetrain. The new super SLR shifter design relocates the brake lever pivot for better mechanical advantage. Internal cable routing gives lighter steering action and a cleaner handlebar area. The 10-speed SIS 105 rear derailleur integrates the wide link design prominently featured in both Dura-Ace and Ultegra derailleurs to not only promote quick shifting, but to preserve the pivots for greater durability and long term crisp shifting performance. A compact Sugino crankset and Shimano 105 cassette deliver all of the gears you'll need.

Your body contacts the bike at three locations: the handlebar, saddle and pedals. It's important that you feel in control at each spot. The Charge Spoon saddle, Classic Bend bars and Wellgo trekking pedals are incredibly comfortable to the touch. Finally, Charge full wrap fenders keep you dry and road grime off your frame; looking good is as important as feeling good.

Shimano RS-10 wheels were chosen for their 24 mm high profile which adds improved aero dynamics without sacrificing durability. They have high lateral rigidity due to a 3 mm offset asymmetric rim and wide flange spacing. Low-friction seals on the hubs effectively shut out water, mud and dirt without affecting rotational smoothness. Continental Ultra Race tires have a traditional 23c width and their 3-ply construction offers a supple ride for comfort and better performance. The Lightweight Safety System shields your tubes from punctures and pinches with nylon and Kevlar and reduces rolling resistance for more speed and tread life.
