2013 Charge Cooker SS Mountain Bike

Utter simplicity. Take a look at the bikes in your garage and you'll most assuredly see shifters and derailleurs, triple and double crank sets, and front and rear suspension. They are so intricate, they need constant upkeep, and they are nowhere close to being simple. The Charge Cooker Single Speed (SS) allows you to focus on the simple act of having fun.

It's a 29er designed around 100mm-120mm of front fork travel, but outfitted with a gorgeous Tange Infinity Cromoly rigid fork. The Tange steel has shock absorbing properties without adding cumbersome and unnecessary weight to the front end. What you get in return is predictable response, stiff acceleration and reactive handling.

The Cooker SS comes with a versatile 32x16 gear ratio which is more than adequate to tackle a variety of terrain. WTB Prowler Comp 29x2.1 tires have a knobby tread for great grip in and out of muddy corners. The included Pro Max hydraulic disc brakes are an excellent upgrade from cabled brakes. They add superior caliper actuation and stopping power.

One gear. One immaculate Tange steel frame and fork. It's one bike with a world of possibilities. The Cooker SS is ingeniously simple and always ready to ride.
