Lightweight, affordable and tubeless ready, the Stan's Alpha 340 Comp front wheel provides a smooth, quality ride, whether you're ascending tall summits or mixing it up on the local cyclocross circuit. The redesigned 3.30R front hub has improved threaded endcaps and is lighter than the previous iterations. Proprietary Bead Socket Technology means reduced rotational weight without sacrificing strength.
  • Bead Socket Technology (BST) allows the tire to achieve greater air volume for better cornering grip
  • BST rims reduce pinch flats when used with tubes due to sidewalls that are lower than conventional rims
  • Reduced weight means increased speed
  • Rims allow for lower tire pressure, meaning a faster rolling tire that better absorbs bumps instead of bouncing
  • Lower pressure also enhances ground contact, resulting in better traction when corning and climbing on a loose surface
  • Can be run with tubes or tubeless
