Lightweight, affordable and tubeless ready, the Stan's Alpha 340 Comp rear wheel provides a smooth, quality ride, whether you're ascending tall summits or mixing it up on the local cyclocross circuit. The redesigned 3.30R rear hub provides increased lateral stiffness. Proprietary Bead Socket Technology means a lighter weight wheel without sacrificing strength.
  • Bead Socket Technology (BST) allows the tire to achieve greater air volume for better cornering grip
  • BST rims reduce pinch flats when used with tubes due to sidewalls that are lower than conventional rims
  • Reduced weight means increased speed
  • Rims allow for lower tire pressure, meaning a faster rolling tire that better absorbs bumps instead of bouncing
  • Lower pressure also enhances ground contact, resulting in better traction when corning and climbing on a loose surface
  • Can be run with tubes or tubeless
