2013 Fuji Cross 2.1 Cyclocross Bike

If this is what an entry level cross bike looks like for 2013, pinch me. Fuji's Cross 2.1 cyclocross bike features the recently introduced and redesigned Shimano Tiagra 10-speed drivetrain that was released for 2013. If you haven't tried it yet, the Tiagra group offers crisp shifting and easy maintenance. Two important virtues for a cross bike intended for off-season riding, not to mention 10 speeds instead of 9 for better gearing options. Oval Concepts supplies the fit foundation with the 300 series bar, stem, and seatpost, including suede-padded bar tape as a luxurious landing pad for your hands. Vera Corsa aero wheels with bladed spokes give you added acceleration and are mounted with a forgiving 12/30 Shimano cassette range. A 46/36 x 12/30 gearing allows you to continue to climb effectively even under great fatigue. The Oval 730 crankset is press-fit BB86 which results in a stiffer, better accelerating bike that loses less power transfer. Do the math and the result is a terrific cyclocross bike with many features you'll enjoy all season long.
