Hutchinson Cobra 29x2.25 Tubeless Ready Mountain Tire

The Cobra, tested at the highest level by Olympic champion Julien Absalon, is a versatile tire that is ideal for dry trails. It features multiple knobs that optimize your traction on dry trails. The makeup of the tread consists of low profile knobs on top, for greater efficiency and lower rolling resistance, and high lateral knobs for excellent grip that will hold your line entering and exiting turns.

The Cobra has good mud clearance and puncture resistance, but it shines above others in its class with superior lightness and dependable performance. The 2.25 width is the best balance of between having a narrow tread print for quickness without conceding necessary grip on tight singletrack. The narrower width means less material used as well, so each Cobra is a mere 760 grams.

The Hutchinson Cobra is tubeless ready. You can run very low pressure for added grip without the fear of a pinch flat, which you usually happens miles away from your car in the parking lot.
