Shimano Dura-Ace PD-9000 Road Pedals
Making good better. The Shimano carbon-bodied Dura-Ace 7900 pedals were so highly rated that a redesign for a ostensibly better 9000 series pedal was a real challenge for Shimano designers. However, the Shimano Dura-Ace PD-9000 road pedals received a stunning cosmetic upgrade and in fact still guarantee that same reliable and efficient connection between you and the bike. An extra-wide platform that offers maximum power transfer and comfort, while wear-resistant top plates ensure durability. The pedals feature a 3-bearing axle system and stainless steel body cover. They are SPD-SL 3-bolt Look style compatible and there are also two new cleats, both designed to eliminate lateral movement. The original cleats' toe section is slightly narrower than the front of the pedal cage, allowing them 1.5mm of float side to side. Combine that with the 3 degrees of rotational play allowed by the rear of the cleat, and you have a bit of movement. They weigh in at a mere 248 grams.
Shimano designs with the rider in mind. They utilize direct rider feedback which results in rider tuned ergonomics and function. That's why the all-new PD-9000 Shimano Dura-Ace pedals are not only improved but, designed just for you.
