Reynolds Forty Six/Sixty Six Carbon Tubular OE Road Wheelset

You never know what you might learn when you pay attention to the pros. That's what Reynolds did and it's why non-pros like us can now purchase a Reynolds high-performance carbon tubular wheelset that pairs a Forty Six front wheel with a Sixty Six rear. For the unfamiliar, the Reynolds Forty Four wheel features a 46mm profile, and the Sixty Six, you can figure that out yourself, right?

The pros discovered a long time ago that mixing profiles allowed them to take advantage of the characteristics of each design and achieve a synergy that kicks their overall performance into overdrive. With the narrower, but still highly aerodynamic, Forty Four on the front, stability in cross winds is enhanced and weight is reduced. With the workhorse Sixty Six wheel optimizing stiffness aft, power transfer is enhanced, resulting in an ideal combination of speed, control and a whole lot of drop-the-hammer whoop-ass.

Both the Forty Six and Sixty Six wheels feature Reynolds' high modulus carbon and refined resin system for strength, stiffness and light weight. They also include Reynolds' Swirl Lip Technology, a cleverly-designed rim shape that breaks up the flow of air passing over the rim surface, allowing the wheels to slice through the air cleaner than a paper cut. They're laced with 20 DT Aerolite spokes front and rear (Radial front; 2X/Radial rear), provide awesome braking power thanks to Reynolds' exclusive CTg brake track that reduces heat build-up by as much as 100 degrees compared to other carbon rims, and they're outfitted with ultra-smooth rolling DT hubs.

The Reynolds Forty Six/Sixty Six carbon tubular wheelset comes with Reynolds Cryo Blue brake pads (the only ones Reynolds recommends for use with these wheels) and lightweight quick release skewers.

These wheels are eligible for the Reynolds Assurance Program.
