The brain trusts at LifeBEAM and Lazer have collaberated to bring us the worlds first smart bicycle helmet. The Lazer Genesis LifeBEAM smart helmet monitors your heart rate data while you wear it using a tiny sensor mounted within the headband of the helmet, which sends data to a processing unit at the back, and your heart rate data is instantly and accurately transmitted to your cycling computer, smartphone, or other ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart compatible devices. The LifeBEAM sensor data is integrated within the lightweight, comfortable Lazer Genesis helmet, and is all weather compatible and motion-resistant, so it can be used while mountain biking or cross racing, as well as all weather road riding.
