Description: 30-60 minute hammer-fest on a flat course, complete with breakaways, chase downs, and sprints. It’s a great high-intensity workout during a lunch break

MacArther Blvd - Road
Description: Flat road with a bike path. Multiple attractions (Glen Echo, Great Falls, etc.), usually low traffic; connects to the Capital Crescent Trail

River Road to Seneca/28 or Poolesville - Road
Description: Good road ride, some hill climbing

Description: Over 12 miles of single track trails close to home, definitely the best mountain bike area in Montgomery County

Skyline Drive from Front Royal - Road
Description: Amazing scenery. Long, easy climbs with long, fast descents. Ideal place for hill training

Location: Off Route 66 in Front Royal. Start at the gate into Shenandoah and start climbing
