The Great Ride Series - Beginner
You’re invited to join our beginner level
Saturday morning group ride, starting and ending
at Performance Bicycle. The ride is for
beginners, those getting back in the saddle, or
riders who want to add some variety to their
cycling. The ride will last approximately one
hour, and will go at an average pace of between
12 and 15 miles per hour. We’ll explore some of
the local bike paths and some residential
routes, as well. The ride will take place every
Saturday morning at 9:00am and is a “No Rider
Left Behind” ride. Come out and join us for this
fun, non-competitive ride. We can’t wait to see

US National Whitewater Center
Description: The U.S. National Whitewater Center is home to some of Charlotte’s best trails. The USNWC offers over 20 miles of scenic woodland trails, river views, challenging climbs and exciting descents for riders of all ages and skill levels.

Description: This little secret singletrack gem lies hidden no to far from Charlotte Coliseum. What begins with a friendly dirt path quickly turns into rock-and-root-strewn singletrack. Approximately 4.7 total miles.
Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate
Location: 1200 West Tyvola Road
Description: Clockwise loop of twisty singletrack good for both single-speed and geared XC bikes. Composed of gradual climbs and descents with various bridges, log jams, jumps, berms, and rock gardens throughout the loop.
