Road Bike Frames

Road bike frames tend to come in two varieties. Firstly, the lightweight road bike frame, usually made from aluminum or carbon fiber provides a lightweight foundation that can support you, the gear you carry and have the geometry to maximize your pedaling into forward momentum. The other variation of the road bike frame is the cyclocross bike frame. The rear is a bit wider to support a knobbier cyclocross tire, but the overall weight, geometry and construction is very similar to the road bike frame. Depending on how and where you ride, the right road bike or cyclocross bike frame can make a huge difference in your ride.
