Comments about CAT EYE Cat Eye MSC-HR20 Heart Rate Monitor:

My first watch/monitor, enjoyed using it. Stylish w/o being gaudy, easy to read, decent functions, seemed accurate. Really liked it, right up until the MODE button fell off and was lost. It will be going back to the store in place of a Polar.

Extremely inaccurate reading. Sometimes jumps to 220 bps, sometimes registers nothing at all. Bettor off spemding a few more dollars and purchasing a Polar.

Great Monitor
By JW from Mayberry, NC on 12/19/2006
Pros:
Accurate, Durable, Easy to Read, Waterproof
Best Uses:
Mountain Biking, Road Racing, Serious Training

Comments about CAT EYE Cat Eye MSC-HR20 Heart Rate Monitor:

The strap is not coded, which has not proven to be an issue at all. I use it with a data recorder, so I needed one that was not digital. I have had no problems on group rides or in races, and have given up on my digital hr montitor in favor of this one. It provides good information, is easy to use and takes a beating. I could not ask for more at this price.

Great Monitor for the money
By Jay from North Carolina on 11/4/2006
Pros:
Accurate, Durable, Easy to Read, Waterproof
Best Uses:
Not Just Biking, Road Racing, Serious Training

Comments about CAT EYE Cat Eye MSC-HR20 Heart Rate Monitor:

I purchased this because the digital Timex monitor I have didn't have a lap function. Even though it is not digital, it is reliable, doesn't suffer from interference on a regular basis, and works well with my Cambiatta Data recorder to give me workout detail. It does what I need.
