As featured in Road Magazine, the Bosberg is "a solid carbon fiber complete rig with top-notch componentry at a downright affordable price...suitable for the recreational rider and/or Cat. 3-4 racer." Originally designed for the European market, this bike is now available in the U.S. only at Performance Bicycles! The frame is hand laid with Japanese UT500 carbon fiber in a triple monocoque configuration to give you an incredibly lightweight, stiff and comfortable ride. The carbon fiber fork smoothes out the rough spots to deliver precise steering and control while the new SRAM Rival gruppo with Double Tap technology provides nearly flawless shifting performance. Top it off with a Kore Gradient II, low spoke wheelset and Schwalbe Kevlar tires for a responsive ride than can handle any gradient in its path.

Comments about MONGOOSE Mongoose Bosberg Carbon Road Bike:

This is an amzing bike for the $ or for 2-3 times as much. Finish is impeccable and the ride is fast and comfortable. This thing weighs in under 16 lbs without pedals and handles well. It climbs up hills effortlessly and is a "no compromise/no excuses" rig. The Sram Rival is light and works well. Not as smooth as Shimano, but lighter and works as well. On sale this Mongoose is a ridiculous bargain.

Comments about MONGOOSE Mongoose Bosberg Carbon Road Bike:

Bought in August when a new Performance opened, upgrading from a Cannondale CAAD3 with full Campy. Fast ... fast ... fast. Raced in a time trial the other day and was 1 mph faster even without aerobars into a 15 mph wind. The geometry is aggressive so it is different from the C'dale or my Trek commuter. Light, stiff frame that transfers everything I put into it, and I'm no lightweight, 6'1" & 185. Love the SRAM double-tap, more intuitive than Shimano or Campy. No problem with the I-Beam seat, but I ride three bikes. Took at bad fall the end of last summer but the bike was undamaged, wish I could say the same about me. Too bad it looks like Mongoose is going to discontinue this bike, it is equal or better than friends' Trek 5200 or Giant TCR, it should have had better marketing!

Comments about MONGOOSE Mongoose Bosberg Carbon Road Bike:

I bought this bike because i wanted the parts from it, the new SRAM stuff is super sweet. I pulled the bike out and it looked so cool, Like an Orbea, I had to build it up and give it a go. I was thoroughly impressed. I was so impressed i cancelled the order i had for the Tarmac frame i ordered. This bike rides smoother than anything i've ridden
