Comments about SHIMANO Shimano SH-SD60 SPD Cycling Sandal:

I live in the hot and humid south and these are the best sandals I ever owned. The open toe and single strap make them much more ventilated than the competitiopn (hI have owned brands that had 2 or 3 straps and/or a closed toe- buy these if you like to feel the wind in your toes). I use them to commute to/from work and for training rides.

I would buy this again

Comments about SHIMANO Shimano SH-SD60 SPD Cycling Sandal:

I used these for all my rides, especially commuting, which is via a Catrike 700 recumbent trike. I used to use them for bicycling, too. I bought them over 12 years ago and am glad they are still on the market so that I can get a new pair when mine wear out! When commuting I wear these as my work shoes after my ride. Two caveats: (1) Sometimes I put them on too tight, causing parts of my feet to lose sensation (loosening them, which I can do in motion, takes care of that, though); (2) cleats can hit rocks when walking (this happens with my cycling shoes, too; just be careful when walking outside).
