Comments about KENDA Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 2.1 MTB Tire:

Wow! I rode all up and down the trails with these guys today (at Schaeffer Farm) and only lost traction once for a brief second on a big up hill battle. They corner great and will role over anything. My buddy (the better rider) had a hard time keeping pace. They are rugged as heck too! I should have tore up the sidewall on them more than once but they just keep holding up. Commuting wise, Im thinking about getting some different tires for the daily ride to work. They will slow you down on a paved road.

Comments about KENDA Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 2.1 MTB Tire:

These tires have almost as much traction as the WTB VelociRaptor tires I had, but they offer so much more control that I can honestly say I will buy these again soon as my old pair wears out. They are not slip-proof tires, but they offer the best combination of control, traction, and speed that money can buy.

The rubber does stick to objects much better than other tires, however they do seem to wear out quicker. I would not recommend doing a lot of roads with this tire, but that also goes to any other mtb tires as well. I have used them for over a year and it looks like I have worn them down by a third. I would say that they could probabley be replaced every two years by someone who is very competitive or every three with someone that just rides 2-3 days a week.

I would recomend 32 psi for these to get the full "sticky" effect as 40-45 will generally cause you to bounce off of objects more and loose control.

Comments about KENDA Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 2.1 MTB Tire:

Wow do these tires stick! I'm totally sold. I would never have tried them due to their cost and weight, but they came as original equip. on my new bike. Now I'm sure my next set will be the folding version (650g). Loose or packed dirt and stream crossings are just non events for these tires! My only complaints are that they're expensive and don't roll worth beans but these are the prices one must pay to have tires that allow you to tackle just about anything with total confidence.

I use this tire on the back of my singlespeed, with the 2.35 on the front. Climbs well in all conditions. Good traction and holds well in turns. No complaints.

Great for rough terrain
By JonathanVerified Reviewer from Springfield, MA on 9/23/2006
Pros:
Great traction, High Quality
Cons:
Expensive, Poor rolling resistance, Wears out quickly
Best Uses:
Poor weather conditions, Tough terrain

Comments about KENDA Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 2.1 MTB Tire:

This tire is great to have when you're doing extreme climbs and descents and wet conditions. If you're just planning on taking this tire on local cross country rides you might want to think again. They are extremely inefficient and require a lot of pedaling on flat sections and will absolutely kill if you take them on the road (especially if you're trying to keep up with riders who are at your same level or better than you). However, if you do a lot of technical riding and stay off the road, then I would highly recommend these tires.
