TransIt Metro Rack Trunk (Black) (6L)
I put a few thousand miles on my road bike each year. Whether I am commuting to work, exercising/training, or just out for joy ride, this is my preferred rack trunk. I like to travel light and only carry the necessary essentials with me. This is most compact rack trunk that I've been able to find anywhere online. Most other small rack trunks have two velcro bottom attachment straps, but this trunk has four side velcro straps. The four attachment straps hold it much more secure to my rack. (I've tried a two-strap model once, and trunk shoot loose and fell in the road.) Over the past 10 years, I had three of these trunks. Not that they are bad, but rather after 3+ years and 10,000+ miles, the velcro straps don't stick as well. No fault of the trunk or manufacturer, just my constant use. I have never had a broken zipper and I definitely get my moneys worth from this trunk. I hope that they never discontinue making this TransIt Metro Rack Trunk.

TransIt Metro Rack Trunk (Black) (6L)
Bought this bag 8 years ago from Performance, in 2012. It had held up extremely well until today -- one of the zipper pulls detached from the zipper. I tried to fix it, but can't get the teeth to engage. :( I wonder if the statute of limitations has run out on any warranty claim!

Looks like I'll be using only one of the two pulls going forward. Otherwise, the bag is a good size -- not too big, not too small. And it easily and quickly detaches from the rack if you want to carry it separately, or when washing the bike.
