Specialized S-Works Mondo Tubeless Road Tire (T2/T5) (2Bliss) (700c) (28mm)

Five Stars so far. Preliminary review. I mounted this as tubeless with Stans sealant. The tire went on my Shimano Ultegra (RS-500) tubeless rims pretty easily - which is one of my major concerns with tubeless tires - if I can't easily mount or dismount in the field, I don't want them. These went on fine without soap and just a bit of tire-iron work. It seated onto the rim and sealed fine with a regular floor pump. I have ridden it about 2,000 miles in two months so far without any issues (and no punctures) . I ride on rough roads - VERY rough roads consisting of bad chip-seal and multitudes of patches and pot-holes, and occasional rough gravel, so I want a very durable tire. This is working fine so far. I'll update this review after I find out how many miles I can get out of it

Update on Nov 17, 2023: I have ridden this tire over 4,000 miles and have not had any flats or other problems. At this point the wear indicator on the tire (a pit in the tread that gets shallower as the tread wears) is almost gone and some casing threads are starting to show (NOTE: this review is for the REAR tire, which wears much faster that a front tire). The tire is still holding pressure just fine - I need to add maybe 10 pounds after a day or more of not riding. I'm very happy with this tire. I can probably get another 500 or so miles out of it but out of caution - and not wanting any flats on the road - will change it out soon. This tire has lasted longer than any other tire I have tried in the last few years (Hutchinson Sector, Hutchinson All Season, Vitoria Corsa, all of which lasted less than 2,000 miles) so I plan to use this tire for the foreseeable future. Note on tire pressure: Due to the rough roads I ride on I use 60-lb in the front tire and 70-lb in the rear tire, and I weigh 185-lb. The bike is a 2011 Specialized S-Works Roubaix SL3.
