The Vittoria Mazza combines input from world class athletes with cutting edge tread technology, thus raising the bar on the enduro tire category. The Mazza uses deep siping in the direction of rotation allowing the tire to roll fast wile opposing drift in off camber situations. The unique siping pattern creates asymmetrical tread flex which translates to predictable and confident cornering. The bar has been raised, so get ready to start shredding.

Features:

  • Aggressive profile with ample spacing for mixed terrain riding
  • Progressive siping width allows for tactical grip on slick rocks and roots
  • Stepped leading edge center-tread maintains speed and delivers outstanding climbing traction
  • Substantial room between center tread knobs provide outstanding braking traction while also offering quick mud clearing
  • Vittoria's proprietary 4C compounds are layered allowing the surface of the tread to remain tacky while the base remains planted

Vittoria Mazza Trail TNT Tubeless Mountain Tire (Anthracite) (29") (2.4")
Initial review: The tire weighted 963g, mounted easily and seated with no problems using a floor pump. I knew many reviews had the 2.6” measuring way smaller at 2.4” but had this size measuring accurately so I was surprised this measured only 2.2”! I inflated to 35 psi overnight and it increased to 2.3” where it has remained after about six rides and 50 miles. I’m using it as a front tire paired with an Aggressor in the rear. I weight 175lbs total and initially had the tire inflated to 23 psi as I didn’t know how the thinner sidewalls would behave. This was too stiff and have decreased to 21psi with a much better trail feel and no sidewall squirm. My trails are typical old school hand built midwest off camber rocks and roots with short flowy sections. No wear is noticeable so far and the tire has proved very capable through rough sections and corners. I had a wide 2.5” Vigilante in front and was not too confident in this tire at first but it gives me no worries now. It is lighter and rolls much more easily (understandably) than the Vigilante. My trails are only open when dry so I don’t know how this tire does in wet conditions. Overall, I’m pleased so far.
