Meet the Manager
Lee is the Store Manager at our Boulder location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2006. Lee is originally from Orlando, Florida and started biking as a kid in order to get to and from baseball and football practices. Now, he enjoys mountain biking and getting away from it all, out in nature, while flying down the side of a mountain. His favorite place to ride includes Waterton Canyon to Colorado Trail just for the views and wildlife alone. One day, Lee hopes to ride the legendary trails at Moab, Utah.

Lee’s Ride Tip: Ride hard, take chances. Catch stoke!

Routes / Trails
The Great Ride Series - Beginner
You’re invited to join our beginner level Saturday morning group ride, starting and ending at Performance Bicycle. The ride is for beginners, those getting back in the saddle, or riders who want to add some variety to their cycling. The ride will last approximately one hour, and will go at an average pace of between 12 and 15 miles per hour. We’ll explore some of the local bike paths and some residential routes, as well. The ride will take place every Saturday morning at 9:00am and is a “No Rider Left Behind” ride. Come out and join us for this fun, non-competitive ride. We can’t wait to see you there.

Spin Doctor Mechanic
AJ is the Spin Doctor Mechanic at our Boulder location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2009. AJ has been a mechanic for 14 years and has an extensive background in bicycle maintenance. He is a Bikefitting.com specialist, Body Scanning Fit System trained, and SRAM Technical University and Spin Doctor certified.

AJ’s Ride Tip: Use Stan’s Sealant in mountain bikes tubes. I used it for a season in my 29er and never got a flat (there are a lot of goat head thorns in Colorado)!
