VeloSano Bike to Cure
How far will you go for the cure? VeloSano features One-Day Rides that start and finish in downtown Cleveland on July 19, consisting of 25-miles, 48-miles, 62-miles (metric century) and 100-miles (century). The Two-Day Ride starts in Cleveland and heads to Erie, PA, for a total of 110-miles, including an overnight stay on July 19. The second day return options on July 20 are your choice of 120-miles or 63-miles back to Cleveland. 100% of dollars raised by participants will benefit cancer research at Cleveland Clinic. Routes / Trails

The Great Ride Series - Beginner
You’re invited to join our beginner level Saturday morning group ride, starting and ending at Performance Bicycle. The ride is for beginners, those getting back in the saddle, or riders who want to add some variety to their cycling. The ride will last approximately one hour, and will go at an average pace of between 12 and 15 miles per hour. We’ll explore some of the local bike paths and some residential routes, as well. The ride will take place every Saturday morning at 9:00am and is a “No Rider Left Behind” ride. Come out and join us for this fun, non-competitive ride. We can’t wait to see you there.

Local Trails

West Branch State Park - MTB
Description: 10 miles of technical single track located along picturesque West branch State park. The trails range from the fast and flowing Lakeside trail to the technical rock strewn south side trails. Multiple bail points are located throughout the trail.
Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced
Location: 5570 Esworthy Road, Ravenna

Royalview Trail - MTB
Description: A great trail to get your feet wet in mountain biking. The trail is designed with limited technical features so it’s a good trail to get used to singletrack. This isn’t to say it isn’t for the more experienced rider! With some of the best flow to any trail nearby you’ll enjoy ripping through this trail.
Difficulty: All levels

Cuyahoga Valley National Park - Road
Description: With miles of roads around the 10th most visited National park in the country you’ll always find a beautiful scene around you. You can cruise around the base roads, hop onto the Ohio and Erie Canal towpath trail that runs through the bottom of the valley or you can venture into many of the leg crushing climbs that climb out of the valley.

Spin Doctor Mechanic
Brandon is the Spin Doctor Mechanic at our Mayfield Heights location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2010. Brandon has been cycling for 26 years and enjoys track, road and mountain biking. He’s been a competitive cyclist since 1987 and has set a goal of racing in the Masters Nationals. He’s been a mechanic since 1987 and has aided several national team riders.
