Meet the Manager
Benjamin is the Store Manager at our Tukwila location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2009. Benjamin has lived in the Northwest for nearly his entire life and he’s been riding bikes since he was 10 years old. He’s raced both XC and DH mountain bikes and his favorite place to ride is Sun Top trial in Greenwater.

What’s Happening?

The Great Ride Series - Beginner
You’re invited to join our beginner level Saturday morning group ride, starting and ending at Performance Bicycle. The ride is for beginners, those getting back in the saddle, or riders who want to add some variety to their cycling. The ride will last approximately one hour, and will go at an average pace of between 12 and 15 miles per hour. We’ll explore some of the local bike paths and some residential routes, as well. The ride will take place every Saturday morning at 9:00am and is a “No Rider Left Behind” ride. Come out and join us for this fun, non-competitive ride. We can’t wait to see you there.

The Tapeworm - MTB
Description: Tight, twisty single track. Some stunts. Minimal elevation change.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Location: Renton, WA

Grand Ridge - MTB
Desciption: Grand Ridge offers challenging singletrack, technical climbs, and short, steep descents. Just a short distance from Seattle and even closer to the East Side, Grand Ridge is an excellent choice for quick evening rides and short adventures.
Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced
Location: Issaquah, WA

Interurban Trail
Description: The Everett–Seattle Interurban Trail runs for 30 miles between Everett, Washington and the Seattle suburb of Greenwood.
Difficulty: Easy

Green River Trail
Description: The Green River Trail currently stretches 20 miles through the industrial heart of the valley from the southern suburbs of Seattle to Kent, connecting to a number of neighborhoods and community trails.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Location: Access Points: King County's Fort Dent Park, Kent's Brisco Meander Park, Russell Road Park, Foster Park, Auburn's Brannon Park.


Spin Doctor Mechanic
David is the Spin Doctor Mechanic at our Tukwila location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2011. David has been a mechanic for seven years and is Spin Doctor certified. He enjoys riding BMX and volunteers his time outside of the shop to repair bikes for families in need.
