Meet the Manager
Sean is the Store Manager at our Baltimore location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2008. Sean started riding as a kid and now has over 30 years of cycling experience. He enjoys riding mountain bikes mostly, but still finds to time to ride the road as well. His favorite place to ride is Little Gunpowder and he hopes to ride in the Italian Alps someday.

Location: Just north of Towson off of Baltimore Beltway I-695

Northern Baltimore County - Road
Description: Great scenery…lots of hills
Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced
Location: North of Shawan Road, exit 20A off of I-83

Northern Central Railroad Trail
Description: No traffic…great for families. Old railroad bed converted to recreational trail.
Difficulty: Beginner
Location: South of Shawan Road, exit 20A off of I-83, extends north to York, PA

Spin Doctor Mechanic
Spin Doctor Chris is from Carney, Maryland. A bike mechanic and Performance employee since 1999, Chris enjoys building wheels and all kinds of riding. In fact, if he’s not in the store, chances are he’s out on the road or riding a trail somewhere. Always eager to share his expertise, Chris offers cyclists this indispensable bike tip: “Make sure that your wheels are properly installed in the frame/fork before doing anything else.”
