Routes / Trails
The Sunday Stroll
Sundays at Next Door Cafe (659 W. Diversey Pkwy.)
Meet at 8:00am, wheels down at 8:30am sharp.
Ride will leave Next Door Cafe and head south along the lakefront then turn around and head back up to Lincoln Park.
This is a group ride at a slow/moderate pace (13-18 mph). A chance to spin, meet new friends and see how you feel after a winter of hibernation!
Helmet required, please allow yourself time to fill out a waiver (and enjoy some coffee) before we head out.

Chicago North Branch Trail – Road
Description: Scenic all the way from the city to the Botanical Gardens in the north suburbs
Difficulty: Beginner
Location: Starts at Devon and Elston in the city, heads north through the suburbs and ends at the Botanical Gardens in Northbrook

We recommend that you confirm trail openings and locations with local resources.

Spin Doctor Mechanic
Jakub is the Spin Doctor Mechanic at our Lincoln Park location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2011. Jakub is a native of Chicago and he’s been a mechanic for 7 years. Jakub has an extensive mechanical background, including Barnett Bicycle Institute experience, Spin Doctor certification, and he’s even wrenched for the Calypso Cycling Team. He commutes everyday by bike and isn’t fazed by the bad Chicago weather.
