Meet the Manager
Store Manager Lance is from Ventura, California and he has worked for Performance since 2005. Lance grew up riding bikes of all kinds and he’s been mountain biking since 1984. His favorite thing about working at Performance is being able to introduce new riders to cycling, and his favorite type of riding is in the mountains and off the pavement. South Mountain Trails is his destination of choice for quick fun rides.

Local Trails

Desert Classic - MTB
Description: Great training ride
Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate
Location: Trail runs along the south side of South Mountain Park. Main access is Pima Canyon on the East end of the park

Maricopa Highway - Road
Description: Great flat, low traffic ride from South Mountain area to Maricopa and back
Difficulty: Beginner
Location: Take Maricopa road from Firebird Raceway on I-10 to Maricopa

Spin Doctor Mechanic
Jeff is the Spin Doctor Mechanic at our Chandler location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2012. Jeff has been working on bikes since he got his first job at a bike shop as a kid. He enjoys both mountain and road riding and his dream ride is road riding down the Highway 1 in California.
