Meet the Manager
Store Manager Rick was born in Pasadena and raised in the San Fernando Valley. He’s been cycling since 1997, when he borrowed a hybrid for a century ride and got hooked on the sport. He has since competed in 14 Ironman races worldwide, including the World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Locally, he enjoys riding in Santiago Canyon, Santa Ana riverbed and Box Canyon. In addition to cycling, Rick enjoys running, swimming and golf.

Whiting Ranch - MTB
Description: Scenic, great singletrack, good work out under 1 hour
Difficulty: Intermediate
Location: Portola Parkway/Ralph’s parking lot

Spin Doctor Mechanic
Jeff is the Spin Doctor Mechanic at our Laguna Hills location and he’s been a Performance employee since 2006. Jeff has over 30 years of cycling experience and he’s been riding BMX bikes since he was a kid. While he enjoys riding anywhere, he aspires to one day ride in Ireland or Scotland. He is both Spin Doctor and SAE certified and has 20 years of mechanic experience.
