Store Manager Tom has been with Performance, Castleton since its opening in 2010, and has worked in the bike business for over 11 years. As a lifelong cyclist (commuting, touring and racing) he has wide ranging experience which includes expertise in custom bike fitting and building. Routes / Trails
Group Mountain Bike Ride
Every Sunday at 6:30pm
Ride takes place at Town Run Trail - trail conditions permitting.

Local Trails

Town Run Trail
Description: The trail runs through approximately 160 acres of wooded land along the west side of White River in Indy's first official mountain bike park. There are lots of tight twists and turns on this fast trail through rolling terrain, as well as a couple of short, steep climbs and descents. The trail should be ridden clockwise.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Location: The southern trailhead is located behind Bicycle Garage Indy North, which is in Clearwater Crossing. The northern trailhead is located at the southwest corner of 96th St. and White River, between Keystone Ave. and Allisonville Rd.

Rageline Nature Preserve
Description: RNP has 3 loops; Novice, Intermediate, and Expert. Novice is smooth, fast, and flowing. Intermediate is narrow with a few natural obstacles. Expert is tighter, slower, and loaded with obtacles such as suspension bridge, elevated trail, gap jump, teeter totter, etc. Many more obstacles and trail modifications are in the works. All trails are single track.
Difficulty: All levels
Location: Anderson

Westwood Park
Description: 10 mile single-track loop surrounding the lake and a surprising amount of climbing!
Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate
Location: New Castle

Brown County State Park
Description: With miles and miles of flowing trail, scenic vistas and amazing terrain Brown County has become a world-class mountain biking destination.
Difficulty: All levels
Location: Nashville

Spin Doctor Aaron has been a valuable part of the Performance team in Castleton since his arrival in 2012. As a state ranked BMX racer from Pennsylvania, and an experienced mechanic, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the shop.
