Local Trails
Chicopee Woods Trail System in Gainesville
Bike Trail: 10 miles of 80% singletrack and 20% doubletrack trails. A well maintained (by SORBA) example of why mountain biking so much fun. Lots of great twisty rolling wooded single track with a few water crossings and some easy riding sections. A great workout at the center on Zig Zag trail or a more easy Outer Loop.
Directions: Go North on 985 to exit 16. Follow signs to Elachee Nature Center.

College Trail in Oakwood
Bike Trail: 4 miles of well maintained singletrack trails in a network configuration. Real nice beginners trail. A couple of different entrances to the trail varies it a little. A good place to learn technicals for quick up-hills and narrow single tracking.
Directions: I-985 to exit 16, turn left to 2nd entrance for Gainesville College. Go past buildings and look for parking lot on left. Trail starts at end of lot.
Fort Yargo State Park
Bike Trail: 15-mile singletrack and doubletrack network trail. Recently added 1mile loop for kids. Camping and picnic areas. Nice lake to take a dip in.
Harbins Park
Multiple loops for all skill levels.

Trailhead at Gwinnett Heritage Center.
7.5 mile out and back mixed pavement and gravel located next to Mall of Georgia.
