3Rd Eye Clip On Eyeglass Mirror (Black)
If you're wondering whether to get a mirror that clips to glasses or one that clips to the drops--I pass people on the Coastal Highway in Delaware and about ONE percent of the riders with the mirrors on the drops seem to actually ever look at them! It might be too much distance from where you should be looking (ahead). With the mirror mounted on your glasses, you just cock your head a bit, have a glance. Do it all you want, never miss a beat. BTW I do better with the mirror on my non-dominant eye.

Mirrors are chiefly to see when there's no traffic back there, and you can safely cheat away from the edge of a road, or to know when faster riders are coming up and move over, save them from having to shout at you.

I have used this mirror for fifteen years, both sculling and riding. It IS possible to break one if you drop it just right on a hard surface like a shower floor. I finally managed this year. Light as this one is (I've tried another one here, heavier), very light, it is still a little heavy for a snazzy pair of (prescription) sunglasses I bought that had really thin temples. The mirror jiggles a bit on them. Forget that. So beware of that and avoid such glasses. Bring one of these to the store with you.

The ball joints can be a little sticky at first, but they loosen up, and the idea is to get the mirror angled just the way you want it when you set out and never touch it again, so this doesn't matter. Also covers a case where the joints are loose, seems like that has happened also.

Great product. I bought a half dozen of them back when, and I'm back for more. Eventually you lose the mirrors or the plastic clips break or whatever. The rubber pads around the clips wear out but they're optional. The mirrors clip on just fine without them.
