The Axiom Zap 2 LED Headlight keeps your path illuminated and those around you alerted of your presence. Its high-intensity output of 50 lumens has 3 operational modes of steady, pulse, and flash, and can run for up to 13 hours (on flash). The white LED light runs on a built-in lithium polymer battery that is USB rechargeable and has an indicator light for battery and charging status. It also includes a quick-release rubber strap mount that fits handlebar sizes 19-48mm. The Zap 2 headlight is water-resistant, so you can ride in nearly any weather condition.

A warning - the packaging on the Axiom light states that using any USB cable other than the 2" cable supplied with the light will result in damage. A charging interface is either USB-compliant or it's not; if it is a proprietary interface then using the USB form factor is extremely dumb, makes it too easy to damage the unit by using a standard cable. I haven't used this light yet, plan to return it for misleading advertising since the ad claims USB charging.

I use it as a taillight in flashing mode. I live in a city so it's not too bright. It's a great taillight.
