Forte Pisgah 2 Mountain Tires were developed on some of the toughest trails in the Pisgah National Forest. Available in 29 x 2.35", these tires are ideal for XC riding or any epic ride that demands climbing as well as fast, technical descents. Pisgah 2's have a tread design that provides optimal balance between grip and low rolling resistance. They combine a 60A/50A dual durometer tread compound for long wear life and good bite in corners. And they hold up every bit as well as tires costing a whole lot more.

Forte Pisgah 2 Mountain Tire (60TPI) (29") (2.35")
I have had the tire for a couple months now . It set up tubeless no problem but it was leaky on the side walls . It is wearing fairly quick . Now I ride in the rocky high desert so this environment is hard on tires but my continental trail king on the front that is 6 months old looks to be in way better shape . Now I understand a rear tire is going to wear down faster than the front but it isnt close. Its a fast tire . I even accidentally put the tire on backwards and still was fast and a bonus it improved grip quite a bit . In my area grip is the priority over rolling resistance but since the center knobs are not that tall to begin with you not loosing much in that department . I bought the tire at $34 . I would not buy again at that price but at the sale price of $ 22 at this time maybe .
