Take your cycling safety to the next level with the Blackburn Grid Side Beacon Light Set. Anyone who has ridden a bike at night knows the hazards associated with traffic approaching from side streets and driveways. Front and rear lights can be completely invisible when viewed from the side and reflectors only do so much. Side lights are the solution to nighttime cycling safety. This set includes two lights with a brightness of up to 85 lumens and 4 different modes: high, low, pulse, and strobe. They can be mounted on the fork, frame, or other suitable spot with two different size reusable rubber bands. The LEDs are extra visible due to where amber sits in the visible light spectrum; it is also the universally accepted color indicating caution or "slow down." Run time for these lights varies from 6 hours on low strobe mode to 1.5 hours on high solid mode. They are IP-65 water resistant: fully protected from dust and grit and low-pressure water jets from any direction. Includes dual micro-USB charger.

Blackburn Grid Side Beacon Light Set (Amber)
Brightest amber LED light for bicycling. Far more useful as a rear facing light worn on an elastic headband (1 inch wide) style headlamp. The rubber "O" rings just fit. Very snug, no excess movement. Gets attention of motor vehicle drivers EARLY to avoid accidents. Use as side beacon is not ideal, can be hard to see in strong sunlight. Also exposed to all kinds of mechanical damage when mounted on bicycle fork. Battery life is short. But light charges up up fairly quickly from USB connection.
