The Box One Top Load is a modern, 31.8 Ø, oversize stem designed specifically for BMX racing. When used with our Box One Alloy Triple Taper Handlebar, or Box One Cro-mo Triple Taper handlebars, you get the absolute stiffest cockpit available. This added stiffness significantly improves bike handling while putting more upper body power into your pedal stroke, translating into more forward momentum. This isn’t just hype. Box One Top Load stem bodies are cold-forged and CNC-machined from the highest quality 6061-T6 aluminum. So ive had my bike for about 6 years so i figured id buy a couple parts to freshen it up, my bars were slipping back and for and i went with this stem to color match my bike, unfortunatly i didnt relize there were “over sized” clamps for oversized bars, i have sanded the inside of it to grip my bars but little did i know my bars are waaayy too skinny, just realy wish it wouldve been more clear on the product title that it was an abnormaly oversized part, never had any problems with customer service or order being messed up, i geuss ill take the blame for this one and buy another stem thats definatly not oversized
