CatEye Omni 3 LED Headlight (Clear)
I purchased this flasher and upon receipt it did not function. I pressed the button...nothing. I checked the instruction. It said to "press the button". I tried again, no joy.
I called Performance Bicycle and requested a replacement. It was quickly shipped and received. Kudos to the customer service folks here. They are the best!
I installed batteries in the replacement flasher and again pressed the button....no dice. I saw some reviews of the CatEye flasher on another site with users complaining that it did not work right out of the box. And, that replacements were also were dysfunctional. (Just like my experience).
On a hunch, I pressed and held the button. BINGO!!! There was light!!! This little guy is bright.
If you are looking for a compact, bright, safety flasher I can recommend the CatEye 3. I have used CatEye flashers in the past with good results.
Just remember to "press and hold" the power button till it lights up.
