Cinelli Superstar Carbon Disc Frameset (White)

Cinelli's Superstar disc is their Italian stage-racing bicycle re-interpreted and re-imagined to show off Cinelli's heritage and DNA even better than before. The frame is Columbus Carbon Monocoque, which is made with the use of both external and internal PU molds during the carbon curing process, unlike most frames on the market. This technique that Cinelli uses for the Superstar frame creates a greater compression of the fibers as well as minimizing resin amounts needed — creating a rigid frame that handles beautifully in corners and at the same time, rigid in sprints. The frame's geomerty adheres to traditional Italian racing geomerty (725° headtube & 407mm chainstays), yet the straight lines joining the top and down tubes to the head tube allow for the carbon fiber to remain completely straight, while allowing for some controlled deformation, thus offering optimal weight-to-stiffness ratio. This bowed top tube results above all in a head tube that remains 8% more parallel to its original position, allowing for greater control and predictability of handling when riding in rough conditions.
