Continental Grand Prix 5000 S Tubeless Tire (Black) (700c) (30mm)
Great tires, but steep hooks or thin rims will be difficult to mount on. On my 19.5mm inner/27mm outer/35mm deep wheels, it took almost four hours to mount both tires, and I was left with skinned palms and permanent sensation alterations in two fingers. On my 21mm inner/31mm outer/77mm deep wheels, they rolled on so fast and easy with just my hands that it took less than 15 minutes to sit both tires.

So far they’ve been robust at tackling Chicago’s winter streets, with a single puncture that was easy to plug in a dozen rides and hundreds of miles. The speed upgrade from the TL is not quite the 20% promised, but you will feel faster. They sound fantastic on the road, with a solid humming sound > 20mph that you’ll enjoy.

Continental Grand Prix 5000 S Tubeless Tire (Black) (700c) (28mm)
Always love a Grand Prix. Easy installation. Seated on my Roval wheels with just a floor pump and no sealant in the tire. Can't beat that!

Continental Grand Prix 5000 S Tubeless Tire (Black) (700c) (28mm)
This tire id great. I only have about 1000 miles on them, but have yet to flat. It does lean toward a race tire, but I suspect that the AS version will the tire for most everybody at a minor weight penalty.

GOAT. Greatest of all tires. Switched back to these after too long. Get ‘em while they’re in stock.

Don’t buy these tires!
I have ridden Continental 5000 tube tires for 15 years. Loved them.

Between my wife and I we crushed 3 pairs of the Continental 5000 TL tubeless tires. Run into the cords without a single flat! Super great.

The new version Continental 5000TR is plain awful. We had six of them two months ago. One went 650 miles without a flat - the record. The other five failed within 150 miles. None are repairable.

These tires cut like playdoh. No hole is too small to fail.

I’m tempted to cut a plug and run a test to see if there is any aramid (Kevlar) cord. I think there is none.

My advice - buy the 5000 TL if you find it. Never buy the 5000 TR. bad bad bad

Any claims of product improvement are lies. These suck.
