Delta X-Mount Pro Phone Holder (Stem Mount)

I think I had my Galaxy S7 loaded into this product for some 500 miles and it failed at the stem mount ring dropping my phone to my drive way as I made the transition from the street to the sidewalk. The cast material is not designed for infinite life and this is were it snapped at two points carrying with it a portion of the stem ring that was under my bearing cap. These were all road miles around Lake Mission Viejo which is really not all that rough of a paved road loop. My take is that the cantilevered design cannot manage the weight of a Samsung Galaxy S7 and the vibration and shock that results when transitioning over road irregularities and gutters to my homes driveway was all it took to make this die cast aluminum part fracture in less than a years time.
