Unfortunately this coat does not cut it for Midwest winter riding. I'm 6ft. 180lbs and the fit in size Large is so tight that I can barely fit a base layer under it so no additional layering is possible. The front barely covers your waistline so if you're not wearing bibs all the time forget about your stomach not getting cold. Might be great for roadie's who never ride under 40 degrees. Since I wore a few times policy says no returns. Really had high hopes but back to Gore Bike Wear for me.

Bought the jacket because it was on sale and took a chance!! I live in New York and got it just in time for my first cold morning ride! I was surprised!! Very light weight jacket but turned out to be very warm and comfortable!! I had on a normal cold weather base layer and a long sleeve summer relaxed fit cycling shirt underneath and I was very comfortable! Not to hot but not to cold. I would recommend this jacket even after one solid three hour ride. Temperatures that day went from 35-60 degrees! Once it warmed up it packed right up nice in my backpack!

Endura Windchill Jacket II (Hi-Viz Yellow) (L)
I have used my jacket on 4 occasions now, from 30 to 38?, with 50 to 90% humidity. On one ride, I had 15+ mph winds. The jacket kept me warm. I did not feel the wind thru the jacket. I used 2 to 3 layers underneath (I like to use light layers) and by the 6 th or 7 th mile, I was getting warm and had to open the vents or unzip. I was impressed with the comfort

Pros: fitted nicely. I can wear from one to 3 layers. underneath comfortably

Cons: Size chart is inaccurate. I needed a size larger to be comfortable.
