Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire (Ti Gray w/ Orange Fenix 6 Quick Fit Wristband)
I love this watch! I previously was using the Garmin Forerunner 735XT. I mostly do Mountain Biking, but also do some running.
Pros:
- The battery life is amazing! I did a 4.5 hr race with navigation and the battery was still 80% when I completed!
- I got lost during a race and easily found my way back using the map and auto "breadcrumbs" feature.
- I never thought I'd use the Spotify music, but have learned it's one of my favorite new features: I no longer have to take my bulky phone on my runs. It paired easily with my EarPods and Sony Bluetooth Headphones.
- During races, I found it helpful to use the watch for navigation and my Garmin Edge 1030 for cycling data.
- The WiFi uploading is convenient.
- There are some great watch faces out there... my favorite is "AdjustableAnalogRebirth" by bine8x8.
- Alarm clock! I wish my Forerunner had that.
- Every menu, activity, etc is fully customizable. After about three hours of tweaking, I have it exactly as I want.
Cons:
- It did not come with Cycle Maps nor the City Navigator® North America NT maps. The included topo map is still pretty functional, though.
- It charges slowly. It takes around two hours to charge from 50%.
- My wrist occasionally gets tiny sores from the wrist band, but I expect that to get better as I get used to the heavier watch.
